Training Courses
Australian Training and Consulting offers a range of courses covering various employment sectors including tourism, hospitality, horticulture, environment, civil construction, local government, business and workplace safety.
Employers have a vested interest in keeping the skills of its employees up to date. The cost of training new and existing employees represents a major investment in terms of both money and time for any employer or business owner.
ATAC’s courses can help employers and business owners train employees with new skills as well as gain a formal qualification recognising the practical skills they have already developed through their on-the-job experience.
The benefits to the employer of sourcing training through ATAC can include increased productivity, boosted morale among team members, improved work quality, reduced costs, the ability to plan training at a time which best suits the business, and measurement of skills against national, industry-endorsed competency standards.
Employees who gain new skills can feel more valued as part of a team and achieve a nationally-recognised and VETAB-accredited qualification.
ATAC has a range of short courses covering compliance matters, vocational training and lifestyle interests. Its vocational courses include funded and fee-for-service.
There may be little or no cost to employers for some training courses. State and Federal Governments provide incentives to employers so that their staff can take advantage of training programs.
All employees – full-time or part-time - may be eligible to attract the incentives regardless of age and length of service. Employers or business owners thinking of employing new staff may be able to off-set the costs of training by accessing these incentives. Please call ATAC on 02 6766 9040 for more information.
